I don't normally wear man pants. I like the cut of the ones made for women. They make those now. Sell them for a bit more then man pants normally, so I wouldn't mind wearing man pants sometimes. Though I think my great-great grandmother wore man pants cause at that time they didn't make them for women. Then again, she divorced twice, wrestled alligators, and loved her pipe so maybe I was doomed to wear pants in all my impure glory.

It has been common place here in the US for women to be able to choose what they want to look like for quite a few years now. And it doesn't make us less female. It just makes us a little more modern then the female in the early 20th century you seem to be picturing.

I never really wanted to be a 1950s housewife. The 40s were better. We got to work in factories.

And 14 years of a religious education lead me to believe that god smiles at everything that doesn't hurt others.

Women have been wearing pants for quite a while. I can do a lot more in pants than in a dress. Plus, it's rather cold where I am and there is no way I'm wearing a dress in this weather. Would you wear a kilt if it was 5 (F) out? By the way I look very much like a female in whatever I happen to wear.

I have longish hair because I have always HAD longish hair, and I would feel strange not having it -- but short hair is very cute on some women, too.

I don't recall Jesus ever wearing pants, either. Why don't you wear a skirt like if you're so concerned with how to dress in a way that's pleasing to God? Well, some women feel uncomfortable in dresses. I would like to wear a nice one but there aren't any in my size.

I am not a religious person but I thought God wanted every one naked. Adam and Eve only began to wear clothes when God banished them from the Garden of Eden. In which case God wouldnt give a flying f*ck what a women wears.

I was a teen ager in the '60's, and I remember having to wear skirts and blouses or dresses to high school. I also remember standing out on the bus stop, freezing my keister off even in a knee-length skirt, while the guys got to stay warm in slacks or blue jeans.

Babe, them *weren't* the good old days. Some male type with his head up his hindquarters might think so, but he never froze in winter or suffocated in summer in one of those so-called 'nice' dresses. He never had to mince around so that his slip didn't show or his modesty wasn't threatened by a big gust of the wind that Chicago is famous for.

Bottom line: if you want to wear a skirt or dress, help yourself. Better you than me.
