i like messy lil "knots" when my hair is long enough... vintage ponytale, then twist it around the base to form a bun, longer hair stays in a bun, but shorter will "fray" and leave a messy, sexy kinda look. it's great for casual as well as dressy.

French Braid or a fish plait till the nape of your neck and then leave a pony tail.

I do this to my hair all the time and it's so cute: Make two half ponytails (ya know...where you don't pull the hair all the way through the last time). Make them a couple inches apart....one on the upper back of your head and one on the bottom half. You need about 8 bobby pins. Pull the hair all different angles...up, down, and to each side and pin it down. Make sure you can't see the ponytail underneath. It makes you look like you have a lot of hair! And you can make it as messy for a cuter look or not so messy for a more elegant look.

heres what i think.....go to a hair stylist a good one that u have heard about then ask them what would look good on u. or do what i did get it cut in long layers and style it! long layers are the best way for u because they dont cut any of ur hair in length....it just looks layered get what im sayin?
