Help looking for a semi dress??

I'm looking for a dress for my upcoming school semi-formal dinner/dance. I'm really tall, [%26amp; slim I guess] with medium-length brown hair. I don't think I will wear my hair up, I'm getting it cut with side-bangs though. I'm thinking of maybe a green or blue dress?? I really don't know yet though.

1. suggestions for what style/colour dress??

2. good places to look around for such a dress.

ps. My friend got this dress, it really suits her, and I like this style.. but I don't know where else to get this style, or if it would suit me??

ok that style dress would suit you bc of the lengnth and shape. your probably good with a knee legnth dress in and a line cut or empire waist. check forever21, macys and delias. forever21 has the best prices. macys has the best variety and delias has the best legnths. hope i helped =)

What you friend got is not what I would consider semi formal. It is a nice dress, but I would not consider that a semi formal.
