Hair...What should I do?

Sooo my hair is extra thin and I straighten it.. it's light brown and is medium length.

I want to get it cut so it looks rockerish, but I refuse to dye it. I also DO NOT WANT it any shorter.but I want to change it. Maybe layers? Maybe razored? Maybe long sidebangs? I don't know. I need ideas. I need PICTURES.
