Hey, im a black guy and im tired of my waves. I want the hair style where the hair is like going straight up and kind of spikey looking. not to long. medium length. is there a site or anything with pictures of this style? and what do i use to do it? gel, a relaxer, perm?

I personally don't know why you would want to get rid of your waves but if you are talking about twists you can do a google search for that and you will probably find a lot of websites with people dedicated to twists. Another good alternative would be curls because it is pretty easy to switch from waves to curls. Here's a website for curls, dreads, etc......
